What you will be doing
Elevate K-12 is looking for a high-energy go-getter who is ready to own the order management and invoicing process. You will serve as the primary contact to our customers in order to make sure their orders receive immediate attention and care in a timely and accurate manner. Successful candidates in this role must have order/transaction processing and customer service experience; they are highly organized, detailed oriented and quick learners.
Responsibilities
- Gather and organize all documents related to new orders while reviewing customer contracts for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with various departments to address and resolve any contract issues.
- Establish active communication and engagement with sales representatives regarding customer matters.
- Ensure record accuracy to maintain reliability in financial reporting while processing customer sales order and issuing invoices.
- Process credit memos in compliance with accounting department policies and procedures.
- Maintain master customer data across all platforms. Setup new customers in ERP system as necessary.
- Serve as primary contact for customers along with responding to customer inquiries concerning various matters.
- Review and keep current documentation of various job-related processes while identifying inefficiencies and recommending best practices.
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile Sales Orders, fulfillment, and Invoices across all platforms
- Assist in preparation of audit and various tax returns.
- Perform various ad hoc responsibilities as necessary
- This position is not remote. You will need to commit to working at least 1 day a week in our River North office in Chicago, IL.
Who you Are
- Completed post-secondary education at Bachelor Degree or College Diploma level
- At least 3-4 years of customer service experience
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and initiatives
- Possesses strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize well in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
- Driven team player that is motivated to take responsibility and ensure successful outcomes across activates
- Good Knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of NetSuite and Salesforce is preferred
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with short turnarounds in a fast-paced working environment
- Very detailed oriented and client-focused mindset
- Flexible towards the work timings and tasks allocated
