Part-Time Member Support Representative (Weekend: Friday through Monday)
Note: this role is on-site in Chicago, IL once CV-19 progress allows for more employees in our office. In the meantime it is remote.

About this Role
Equilibria is searching for a part-time Member Support Representative dedicated to providing best-in-class customer support to our members through tickets, chat, and phone.
As the Equilibria team grows, we seek to add a member advocate that provides exceptional member experiences with every interaction. Core values of this role include having a cheerful disposition, empathy, and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
We are passionate about our mission to restore balance in women’s lives. We frequently celebrate milestones together with team lunches and team-curated happy hour nights.
Our office team is currently working remote. This position will start off as a remote position and, once we are in a post-vaccine world, this employee will continue to work remotely, but occasionally will work out of our Chicago office. To give you a peek into what the culture is like at Equilibria, a TikTok dance performance is in the works for when the whole team is back in the office. We enjoy a bit of silliness but if dancing is not your thing, we understand.
The shifts we are currently looking to cover are as follows:
Friday - 10:00am - 3pm
Saturday - 9:00am - 2pm
Sunday - 10:00am - 3pm
Monday - 10:00am - 3pm
In order to be considered for this position, you need to be available for these shifts. There is a potential for growth into a full time position as the team grows.
Role Specifics
- Support members through Zendesk (ticketing software) including chat and phone support
- Quickly resolve shipping, billing, promotions, policies, product feedback, and other issues, knowing how important this role is to building out each member’s experience with Equilibria
- Communicate requests to manager and other teams
- Identify and escalate bugs to Product/Engineering team
- Learn about CBD and the Equilibria product line
- Participate in growing company culture
- Provide ideas and feedback to management

Qualifications
- 2-3 years in customer-facing roles
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive mindset and friendly attitude
- Attention to detail and exceptional communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask and know when to prioritize urgent issues
- Comfortable with technology: some experience with Zendesk (or other support ticket software) and database technology
- Genuine empathy, patience, and professionalism regarding mental health, chronic illness, aging/decline in health, and serious health concerns
- Ability to remain patient during elevated member interactions
- Awareness of or history in the tech or startup world
