Procurement Operations Specialist

Primary Function:

The Procurement Operations Specialist is responsible for administration of all day-to-day procurement activities. Primary activities including but not limited to , issuing purchase orders, handling expedited orders, coordinating delivery terms, communicating with internal customers and external vendors.

The Procurement Operations Specialist will also work with accounts payable to resolve invoicing and receiving discrepancies. Purchase goods and services that meet the specifications and requirements of the end user. Demonstrates basic knowledge of the practical application of goods and services for US operations.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operational Specialist is responsible for administration of all day-to-day procurement activities.
  • Primary activities including but not limited to
  • Issuing purchase orders
  • Handling expedited orders
  • Communicating with internal customers , AP external suppliers

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Related Field. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supply chain, marketing, business, or related field.
  • Ability to manage high volume of frequently recurring transactions in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner with supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple internal customer requests; is able to prioritize requests with guidance. Knowledge of goods and services used in support of client operations. Individuals must be Customer Focused and capable of being hands on.
