Reporting to Head of Quality, the QA Manager is a hands-on technical leader who defines QA strategy and manages quality Engineers as a guild with focus on quality best practices. The QA Manager is responsible for identifying opportunities to increase quality, identify quality gaps and reliability while mitigating risk throughout the platform. The role provides expertise throughout the entire project lifecycle with a strong sense of ownership over results. They will increasingly broaden the scope and maximize effectiveness of the quality assurance function through modernization, standardization, creating awareness and collaborating cross-functionally.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as Quality advocate
- Facilitate recurring and ad-hoc meetings with QA teams ( OneXOne , Sprint Demos, Release Go/No Go , QA metrics and dashboards review)
- Helping teams identify and manage risks and test dependencies.
- Guide QA engineers on effective Bug reporting.
- Enforces acceptance criteria practice with proper test estimation.
- Create Quality metrics, dashboards and GANTT charts
- Identify testing bottlenecks and risk assessments.
- Work collaboratively and support multiple cross functional teams in an agile environment.
- Be a forward thinking thought leader and influence the rest if the origination on latest tech, experience and design trends.

- Be experienced in doing this remotely, as our teams are globally distributed.
- Be driven towards automating repetitive tasks for project teams, project management and scrum domains.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Quality Assurance professional for various technology deliverables.
- 3+ years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Manager overseeing complex activities or processes.
- Experience with building and managing complex, manual test plans.
- Exposure to the full software development lifecycle experience in an Agile-SCRUM environment.
- Strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automated, ideally in a continuous delivery environment.
- Experience in creating metrics and ability to manage multiple testing projects.
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle from inception to deployment.
- Experience with automation frameworks, continuous integration platforms, test management tools, and/or other QA services.
- Self-managed and motivated; organized and detail-oriented.
- 1-2 years’ experience in high change environments - start-up, digital transformation or similar.
- Proven expertise in using remote collaboration tools for communication (synchronous and asynchronous), brainstorming and tracking status.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to relate with both technical and business professionals.
- Usage and experience with Azure DevOps, VSTS, Jira or similar tool to plan and maintain agile workflows and work.
