Job Title: Receptionist/Admin
Summary / Objective
Intellectually curious, hard-working, organized and detail-oriented individual who has 1-2 years of experience in people-facing and administrative roles. Guest experience is everything, so this individual must take ownership over the positive experience of visitors ranging from candidates to vendors to entrepreneurs and business community.
Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment, having managed multiple deadlines and positively interfaced with a diverse group of team members, is an asset. Must be a creative problem-solver, remain calm under stressful situations and be a cheerful, enthusiastic energy in the office.
Essential Functions
- Act as the face of the organization – ability to greet and converse with visitors warmly and ensure they are comfortable
- Front desk management – keep reception area and desk tidy, assist with deliveries and notify teammates of incoming guests
- Office Operations – work closely with the Office Ops team, restock supplies, conference room cleanup
- Calendar management in administrative and conference room scheduling
- Answer inbound calls and route to appropriate recipients / teams
- Support administrative team with workflow and overflow of responsibilities
- Assist Executives and/or their assistants with meetings – prep space, catering orders, clean up, etc.
- Ability to identify and execute new process needs as it relates to this role
- When needed, work directly with office vendors and maintain those relationships
- Be a liaison for all 3 of our office locations
- Build office community and engagement – form positive relationships with employees, participate and organize office events
Competencies
- 1-2 years of experience in people-facing and administrative roles
- Attention to detail with ability to operate successfully with limited direction
- A team-player mentality
- Knowledge of G-Suite and Mac tech platforms preferred
