Position Description:

NowPow is seeking an enthusiastic mission-driven Regional Community Engagement Manager to join our growing Community Engagement team. Reporting to the Head of Customer Success and Community Engagement, you will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies to build and grow NowPow networks and foster sustained partner engagement. In this role, you will connect with senior leaders at providers, payers, government agencies, and community-based organizations to build referral partnerships within your designated geographies. The Regional Manager role is a people management opportunity where you are comfortable being a player and a coach. Our ideal candidate has knowledge and experience in the healthcare or social services space and a desire to help people get the self care resources they need in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement innovative strategies to identify network partners for outreach and engagement to onboard NowPow technology solutions
  • Lead a team responsible for supporting standing up community networks and closed loop referral partners in an assigned geography
  • Be a creator and developer in helping to grow the Community Engagement team
  • Analyze data and continuously monitor referral partner performance for insights to recommend actions for more significant outcomes
  • Develop a strong understanding of network interventions and work with NowPow cross-functional team to determine service referral partners, the capacity needed, and other referral partner criteria
  • Build, foster, and maintain customer relationships to become a valued resource for NowPow partners
  • Oversee training, onboarding, and user provisioning of community partners, including contracting and onboarding as needed
  • Collect partner feedback to inform internal teams on client intervention needs and desired reporting methods
  • Manage and participate in executive and stakeholder presentations, meetings, conferences, and awareness-building events – including town halls for the community.

Location:

This position is based in the NowPow Chicago office, located in Hyde Park. The role is onsite with a structured WFH opportunity.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of related professional experience
  • At least five years of experience working with community-based organizations or similar organizations
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team

Strongly Preferred:

  • Advanced degree in social work, social science, urban planning, public health, public policy
  • Experience managing complex projects with high-level stakeholders
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional strategic planning skills with demonstrated ability to execute against strategy
  • Outstanding attention to detail, organization, decision making, and analytical skills
  • Self-starter, innovator, results-driven with the ability to meet both short- and long-term business goals
  • Ability to manage time well, meet imposed deadlines, and ability to work flexible hours
  • Proven problem-solving skills
