UrbanBound is currently hiring a Relocation Consultant for the Marketplace team. This customer support specialist (known within the relocation industry as a Relocation Consultant) assists transferees to realize successful relocations by leading them to optimal use of the UrbanBound portal.

The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, someone who is able to stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns. There will be many different relocating employees with whom they work. The person in this position must be friendly and genuinely interested in the agenda and needs of relocating employees. A persuasive, teaching style of communication is required to guide transferees through their relocations. Detail-oriented work is a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently; correct handling of details dealing with transferees is necessary to maintain and grow relationships. A Relocation Consultant is successful when relocating employees recommend UrbanBound to their colleagues and our customers are happy, passionate UrbanBound advocates.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all relocation activities for transferees working within a portfolio of Fortune 1000 and high growth customer accounts.

  • Manage transferees budgets and progress with UrbanBound service providers/suppliers.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction measured by a transferee satisfaction survey.

  • Consultatively uncover transferees’ priorities and issues associated with their moves.

  • Proactively execute touch points throughout transferees’ relocations and take action when problems are identified.

  • Qualify transferees for opportunities to utilize UrbanBound’s network of suppliers (e.g., a household goods shipper).

  • Document contacts and progress with transferees by using Salesforce.com.

  • Provide information and content that saves transferees time and angst.

  • Work closely with Senior Account Managers to ensure a great full cycle experience for transferees and the customers who lead the corporate mobility programs.

  • Convey engagement, enthusiasm and empathy at the point of contact with all external and internal customers.

  • Anticipate and understand needs by connecting the dots.

  • Balance initiative and self-direction with the need to work with and motivate others.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited, 4-year university

  • At least one year of selling, account management or customer service experience, preferably within a technology environment (there is a commission component to total compensation)

  • Passionate about building relationships by generating value

  • Outstanding ability to organize and multi-task multiple accounts

  • A self-starter with great time management skills

  • A track record of achieving goals

  • Extensive experience using Salesforce.com or another leading CRM

  • Experience working for an early stage software company is a plus
