About the Team:
The Retail Sales team will implement a comprehensive refresh of the in-store experience for both customers and consumers. 8000 retailers across Illinois will receive transformational sales support reinforced by better products and better media advertising resulting in a transformation of sales performance and overall brand image.
Requirements
Position Overview:
Within Camelot Illinois, the Retail Operations Associate will be responsible for the end to end coordination of all installations, de-installations, changes to terminals and related activities within the retailer.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that the maximum number of terminals are trading at all times.
- Manage Road Net & OnePlace Web application that drives routing for state sales teams.
- Manage and own routing needs / changes within Roadnet.
- Manage daily calls based off of location, channel, and complexity of account coupled with driving productivity with LSR.
- Execute trade days to evaluate Road Net and feel for use.
- Working closely with and aligning field and key account sales, technology providers, Camelot Illinois staff and state employees.
- Improve retail channel capabilities, tools and reporting.
- Provide relevant and timely management information to the retail channels and the wider business, including compliance measurement of the retail engagement program.
- Participate in cross-functional projects on behalf of the retail channels.
- Coordinate retailer training for new and existing retail outlets, including maintaining tools and reports.
- Communicate regular operational updates and centrally hosted information for all retail teams.
- Build and supply content for a library of retail best practices and problem resolution.
- Support the retail operations manager and retailer support director to shape and implement the overall retail strategy and prioritize activities.
- Work productively with key contacts across all teams to ensure effective and efficient working processes.
- Support Camelot Illinois’ commercial plans by providing leading-edge tools and insight to the retail teams.
- Support new and innovative ways of maximizing Camelot Illinois’ retail performance.
- Develop ways to deliver great in store execution of the Illinois Lottery within customers.
- Deliver agreed objectives within investment and cost budgets.
- Ensure external insights align with retail development plans.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelors degree.
- 2 -5 years experience in a retail operations or analyst role.
- Proven knowledge of sales impact analysis.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of retail execution including brand activation.
- Previous experience developing and managing business processes.
Preferred:
- Demonstrable experience in data and database management and development.
- Experience within CPG environment.
- Ability to think and act independently to develop enhancements to current and future ways of working.
- Foster excellent cross-departmental relationships to forge future plans and resolve current issues.
- Ability to articulate and present with impact to senior colleagues.
- Skilled in prioritization and multi-task management under pressure.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use Google Suite.
