Position Description
Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment? As a full-time Retention Specialist, you will work directly with restaurant partners who have requested to offboard the Chowly platform and help them through the process; setting expectations, gathering feedback for future improvements, and finalizing our relationships in a positive and professional manner.
Especially now with COVID-19, restaurants are heavily relying on Chowly products to be their lifeline. Due to the evolving business needs, restaurant owners have grown more passionate and expect the same urgency from their partners. We are looking for candidates who are not only empathetic and skillful communicators, but are able to find speedy solutions in a high-pressure, time sensitive environment.
The ideal candidate has 1+ years of customer service experience, strong analytical skills, an investigative mindset, and an empathetic attitude. They can identify and communicate product and support feedback. Restaurant or Point of Sale knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Process cancellation steps with internal tools and Salesforce
- Offer solutions and assistance to clients when applicable
- Identify trends, root causes, and solutions based on client feedback
- Propose new business practices that could be introduced or suggest modifications to existing practices to reduce client churn
- Manage all client interactions via phone and email correspondence
- Demonstrate extraordinary interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive, multi-task, and prioritize in a high-volume and fast paced environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 1 year experience in a Customer Service or Customer Success role preferred (in-person or phone customer support)
- Restaurant staff experience preferred
- Previous experience using Salesforce (or similar CRM) preferred
- Proficient Mac user preferred
