Job Description

The Ariba/P2P Solution Architect’s primary responsibility is to partner with their business areas and provide technology solutions and services that help deliver Nielsen’s strategic mission and plans. This position will provide technical leadership to assist in the roll-out of ARIBA globally, retire legacy SAP SRM, administer, and maintain this ecosystem of application systems besides playing a key role in S/4 transformation for which planning is underway. 

This includes the development of long and short-term technology solutions that address business goals and deliver improved profitability, efficiency, and an unrivaled associate experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Participate in user-requirements gathering, graphical mapping, and documenting technical designs for technical solutions designed and developed by Nielsen team members.

  • Lead the technical efforts for developing RICEFW objects mainly Interfaces, Enhancements/User Exits, Conversions, Workflow/Rules Engine customization, etc

  • Contribute to a business and technical blueprint and customize the respective Software Package Core Module.

  • Responsible for unit testing, contribute to integration testing, and/or be responsible for the design and delivery of end-user training.

  • Contribute to a business and technical blueprint and customize the respective Software Package Core Module.

  • Lead teams in translating client requirements into to/design that leverage the best practices embedded within Ariba applications

  • Lead the configuration, testing, and deployment of Ariba solutions

Job Responsibilities.

  • 8+ years of direct experience w/ Ariba On-Demand Procure-to-Pay system implementation or testing experience

  • Proven hands-on SAP Ariba with 2-3 Full-Life Cycle implementations

  • Experienced in Buying and Invoicing process, Spend Analytics and Sourcing

  • Experienced as an integration consultant especially in SAP Ariba and SAP projects.

  • Hands-on background deploying Ariba solutions with SAP ERP using middleware platforms (Business Add-on, Ariba ITK, CIG)

  • Proven experience in integration Ariba deployment – Purchase order, Goods receipt, invoice, and master data. (Cloud Integration (CI), Business Add-On or CIG)

  • Hands-on experience to Support Ariba on-demand implementation and integration with ECC utilizing SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG)

  • Hands-on experience in SAP ABAP, IDOC, BAPI, WebServices, and XML

  • Hands-on experience in SAP SRM and MM

  • Experience supporting Ariba on a Global scale (North America, LATM, EMEA, APAC)

  • Lead technical workstream and coordinate with technical teams on Nielsen side as well as Ariba shared services teams as part of the integration workstream to ensure activities are conducted as per the project plan and project status is tracking as planned.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with a minimum of 10+ Years of relevant experience.
