Senior Associate – Data Center
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Data Center and Field Site teams, Facilities, and contractors to successfully execute structured cabling builds
- Coordinate infrastructure technologies (AV, Network, Voice, IP security systems) for Enterprise Facilities driven projects
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver designs, meeting capacity and network requirements and go-live timelines
- Work with design team to develop timely project specific specification and scope documentation, including floor plans, pathway and rack layouts, rack elevations, cable schedules, and bill of materials for all ISP and OSP cabling
- Assist with RFP & Bid documents to capture all aspects of project deliverables
- Identify and respond to risks and high-priority issues rapidly and effectively
- Support development of highly accurate budgets and cost forecasts
- Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.

Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/CIS/Network/Telecommunications or related field or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years’ experience designing, deploying and maintaining complex data center environments (new facility, major facility renovations/expansions)
- Understanding of indoor/outdoor cable plants, including copper cabling, long range/short range fiber optic cabling
- Direct experience developing physical infrastructure implementation plans in conjunction w/ and business partner project schedules
- Knowledge of information technology infrastructure components (LAN/WAN/SAN, firewalls, Wintel/Lintel/UNIX servers, storage, roll-on equipment, wireless, DAS)
- Knowledge of EIA/TIA, IEEE, NEC, and ISO standards relating to data centers and structured cabling
- Data center and/or networking industry certifications preferred
