Business Continuity Professionals manage BCDR services and act as a resource on IT projects to ensure appropriate impact analysis is conducted, data recovery requirements are defined, and disaster recovery procedures are documented. They work closely with senior management to oversee and assist with the Corporate BCDR Program initiatives to include but not limited to Risk Analysis, BIA, Business strategies, Crisis Management, Plan development and maintenance, Recovery exercise, Crisis Communications and awareness and training while working with third party vendors and external agencies to coordinate the proper response and compliance with applicable statutes and regulations.
 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understands how whole picture aligns to overall Ensono strategy
  • Manages large and complex environments
  • Maintains assigned accounts to meet BCDR deliverables
  • Coordinates BCDR activities for assigned accounts
  • Augments and supports senior members of team on projects and BCDR activities
  • Owns small to medium size projects and meet project deliverables
  • Takes on projects which have are low to moderate in complexity
  • Grow expertise in utilization of BCDR tools, processes, procedures and standards

Provides advanced input to the following BCDR Activities/Responsibilities:

  • Plan Development
  • Exercise Support
  • Plan Maintenance
  • Business Impact Analysis
  • Project Management
  • Audit Support
  • Performs data collection and reporting tasks
  • Performs clerical functions pertaining BCDR efforts, processes etc.
  • Continue education and certification in the BCDR field
  • Provides mentorship to Entry and associate BCDR professionals
  • Maintains quality account documentation for all accounts using unit and corporate standards
  • Maintains knowledge of BCDR industry best practices
  • Stays current with industry trends and certifications
  • Promotes BCDR activities within company

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent work experience.

Preferred
Assists with development of Ensono products, Tools and BCDR services. Maintain CBCP or Better certification

CBCP certification

Successful management of assigned accounts and attainment and maintenance of CBCP industry certification. Positive client survey feedback pertaining to service delivery
