Job Overview:
Primary responsibility include package creation, software deployment, image creation, and software maintenance using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012 (or earlier versions of SCCM) is highly desired. The ability to write small .NET or .VBS programs to help admins administrate the environment would be a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Desktop client automation as it pertains to client/server scripting, application deployment, application use monitoring, and image creation/deployment
- Senior level work including data share permission maintenance, Active Directory OU re-organizations, group policy object creation/editing/modeling, and 3rd party software evaluation
- Point person for new projects and initiatives with company-wide exposure
- Assist the team in setting hardware and software standards
- Analyze, test, implement and support the rollouts of new client technologies such as pc’s, laptops, tablets and mobile end point devices
- Escalation point for a team of Operation Administrators, providing advanced troubleshooting, problem solving and research for all levels of user community
- Direct PC imaging standards aligning regional specifications including global language standards, and also responsible for maintaining imaging standards for the PC techs
- Analyze, test, implement and support the rollouts of new client technologies such as pc’s, laptops, tablets and mobile end point devices
- Responsible for System Center Configuration Manager to package application software and test for company-wide deployments
- Client inventory control and asset management responsibilities including cost control
- Provide advanced data analytics of daily ticket data (problem management), and problem escalation trends and deliver solutions based on those trends for the Operation Administrators
- Provide reports to Desktop Engineering manager upon request
Requirements:
- 5+ years SCCM experience preferably with SCCM 2012 or Current Branch
- SCCM experience deploying to over 20 locations and more than 2000 end points
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide to support to other technicians
- Previous Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server support experience preferably remote support experience
- Experience with InstallShield Packaging a plus
