Position Overview
The IT Senior Asset Manager is responsible for the daily and long-term strategic management of technology-related hardware for computer elements within Wintrust Technology organization. This includes planning, monitoring, maintaining, analyzing, recording and reporting hardware assets within the asset database to ensure compliance with Wintrust IT Asset Management (ITAM) policy. Will be responsible to plan and manage the full lifecycle of all IT assets, to help the organization to manage risks, control costs and support decision making about reuse, purchase and retirement of assets, and meet regulatory requirements.
Key Accountabilities

• Maintain, update, & implement processes, procedures, and systems for tracking and analyzing hardware from acquisition through retirement.
• Reconcile hardware inventory within the Asset Management database tool; control and verify the accuracy of the hardware asset portfolio
• Execute daily/weekly procedures; update the Asset Management database tool; verify, enter and adjust ITAM data in a variety of forms, schedules and reports.
• Managing and monitoring devices connecting to the network for entire organization.
• Track and report ITAM/life cycles to management and resolve discrepancies with asset owners. Produce reports for various end users (monthly IT billing, audits, dispositions, etc.).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Experience in inventory management, and related software, preferred.
• Maintain, update, and implement, plans, processes, procedures and systems for tracking and analyzing hardware throughout the asset management lifecycle
• Maintain and update written policies to document processes supporting the asset management lifecycle.
• Account for IT assets throughout the enterprise utilizing asset tracking tools.
• Report ITAM/life cycles to management and resolve discrepancies.
• Track entire life-cycle management for each asset in order to maintain end of life data information.
• Manage the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding hardware assets and be responsible for evaluating the controls relevant to the life of an asset.
• Oversee issue management, audit validation, and regulatory compliance processes pertaining to asset management.
• Administer hardware assets throughout their life cycle.
• Responsible for reconciling hardware inventory within the Asset Management database tool.
• The ability to effectively work with asset owner teams to accurately capture and validate valuable information about the assets they oversee and resolve discrepancies.
