Primary Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, Customer Fulfillment is a key role supporting our company’s strategic vision. The leader will have responsibility for enhancing overall customer fill rate by leading and developing a team of customer facing supply chain professionals. The Senior Manager, Customer Fulfillment will work cross-functionally with peers in account management, vendor management, transportation, warehouse operations, as well as customers and new suppliers directly.
Essential Functions
- Develop relationships with our account management teams to ensure the SC Solutions team is delivering upon its commitments.
- Implement smooth and efficient business processes that support and integrate with the customer, while establishing nuanced solutions for unique customer.
- Develop and maintain a high-performance culture in the function, resulting in continued success meeting functional KPIs and improved levels of customer service to interior and exterior customers.
- Establish and maintain measurable performance metrics for all levels of customer fulfillment activities to include but not limited to new supplier performance, promotional forecasts, vertical growth, customer fulfillment specialist activity levels, financial (AP) performance, and inventory shortage elimination.
- Ensure understanding and utilization of Supply Chain reporting tools.
- Liaise with counterparts in other functional areas such as Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Warehouse personnel to ensure alignment of activities and objectives.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years leading and developing teams with at least 5 years of overall experience in various supply chain roles
- Ability to understand and communicate complex issues across all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, in addition to effective decision-making skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and relationship management skills with people at all organizational levels
- Strong working knowledge of inventory planning, forecasting techniques as well as operational systems and warehouse management.
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently and be self-directed in completing tasks.
- Prior experience with food and/or code sensitive product environment preferred.
- Ability to prioritize workload to have the most significant impact on customer satisfaction and performance to KPI’s
- Strong planning and organizational skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
- Prior experience using advance planning or purchasing systems such as JDA Demand, E3, SAP/AP, Manhattan, etc. preferred
- Proficiency in using Excel, Power BI, Access, and other similar tools.
