About the role
As Senior Manager of Payments Operations, you will own and manage relationships with strategic payments partners, driving projects that improve operational excellence. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will be the expert on all things payment network operations. The Senior Manager of Payments Operations will be responsible for facilitating interactions between external partners and internal stakeholders to identify and resolve partner-centric issues.
As Senior Manager of Payments Operations, you’ll get to:
- Lead all aspects of payments operations with external partners including partner implementation, onboarding, performance management, incident management, and ad-hoc operational issues.
- Drive a scaleable, efficient end-to-end payments network to achieve our mission of making international money transfer effortless for our customers. You will conceptualize and implement processes that scale payments operations at Pangea.
- Ensure operational risks associated with payment flows are properly managed, mitigated, and documented.
- Cultivate relationships with cross-functional team members in Operations, Finance, Engineering, and Product to help drive decision-making and action that achieves network operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience in scaling operations at a high-growth technology company.
- Experience in payments operations.
- Proven experience as an effective operator, with a track record of scaling up, transforming, and automating operations within the payments industry.
- Experience driving change in a high-growth environment.
Bonus points if you have:
- An MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience in the global payments industry, especially international remittances.
