We are looking for a Director, Workday to join our People Platform team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for leading the project management of our Workday implementation and migration plan in 2022. In 2023, you will lead our day-to-day Workday operations and the ongoing design and optimization of our tenant. People Platform is responsible for the company's People/HR "system of record" and continually strives to build a secure, scalable, and intuitive architecture to deliver solutions that support our business efficiently.
What You'll Do

  • Provide Global Workday Administration Leadership and serve as the Subject Matter Authority for all things integration
  • Lead our implementation/migration and serve as Project Management Lead
  • Management and development of two Integration Leads
  • Drive weekly updates to Steering Committee, XLT and cross-functional partners
  • Partner with internal teams to develop solutions that help to optimize and automate People/HR processes
  • Use business knowledge and expertise to find opportunities for process improvements and inform partners of options, risks, and impacts on other processes or systems
  • Drive projects from exploration to implementation; provide expertise, guidance, and delivery of projects
  • Complete hands-on configuration of the Workday application to achieve strategic objectives
  • Lead and develop a team of People/HR analysts supporting Workday
  • Engage with global People and Technology team members to knowledge share and ensure process consistency
  • Engage with Workday Community to understand technology capabilities and recommend solutions that address business needs
  • Keep current on Workday's roadmap and upcoming functionality to evolve and improve the overall platform and user experience
  • Understanding of People/HR functions, specifically pertaining to an employee's lifecycle, along with the terminology, methodologies, and processes


What We Look For

  • 10+ years of hands-on Workday Administration experience
  • 5 to 7 years of people leadership experience
  • 6 years of Workday project management & implementation experience
  • Workday Certification
  • Experience with Project Management tools such as Asana, etc.
  • Experience supporting a medium-to-large global organization
  • Excellent project management skills and proven ability to prioritize
  • Knowledge of People/HR practices, techniques, and standards
  • Self-motivated, creative, and adaptable with excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with our diverse, global partners across the company
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects
  • Ability to focus on the essential issues and simplify complexity
