Senior System Analysts within Nordstrom Technology are responsible for the configuration of Fiserv systems; proposes, designs and implements solutions; has expertise across various Fiserv systems working knowledge of analysis tools, techniques and methods; readily shares information with peer Systems Analysts and has a deep understanding of system functionality.  

We’re looking for an independent, highly motivated and results oriented Senior Systems Analyst to support our Fiserv platform. You will be an advocate for business users and end customers, determining the suitability of new or changed processes to meet the business and customers’ needs prior to implementation. In addition, you'll be responsible for defining and driving changes to the Fiserv system for quality and operational excellence. A day in the life… 

• Leads the business requirement gathering and functional specifications development 

• Leads software configuration, testing and deployment in agile project cycle 

• Serves as key resource in coordinating software changes cross internal and external teams, ensuring quality of software and acts as gatekeeper of change controls

• Effectively communicate by articulating messages in a way that is easily understood and can adjust content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders
• Facilitate cross-functional implementation of new system changes utilizing basic project management techniques and solid communication skills
• Proactively identify issues and determine solutions both pre and post implementation while adhering to implementation deadlines
• Respond to Fiserv system inquiries submitted to the FD Configuration Inquires mailbox in a timely manner
• Represent the team as a Fiserv SME in cross-functional projects
• Work closely with business and cyber security teams
• Lead/Attend Fiserv Ticket and Project meetings to assist in driving ticket/project resolution

You own this if you have… 

• 4+ years of experience with configuring Fiserv systems – PCF (Product Control File), DMM (Decision Management Tables), Rules and DQ (DecisionQuest)
• PayPoint experience strongly preferred
• BA/BS degree and/or suitable work experience as a Senior Systems Analyst
• Ability to define, measure and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities
• Mentor junior members of the team
• Experience with financial processes/standards such as PCI, fraud, payments, credit bureau reporting, etc.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills with exceptional problem-solving capabilities
• Must demonstrate sound decision-making and ability to react quickly under pressure

Hourly and salary pay ranges specific to Colorado are listed below, which is provided in compliance with Colorado law.  Nordstrom continues to remain competitive with pay and benefits in all markets.

Hourly

Minimum - $12.55/hr

Maximum - $46.10/hr

Salary (Non-Exempt and Exempt)

Minimum - $30,200/annual

Maximum - $289,200/annual
