Senior Technical Consultant
This is a remote position. We are a global team that leverages the latest technology to communicate with our colleagues across the globe. When it’s safe to do so, there may be times in which this role would be required to travel to a local office for in person collaborations with your team.
Being a Senior Technical Consultant at iManage means…
You will join a collaborative global team, serving as a subject matter expert in Knowledge Unlocked (KU), Contract Intelligence (CI), and associated Artificial Intelligence (AI) paradigms. You will work with North America clients as they either adopt, or expand their use, of the iManage platform; ensuring solution integrity and the alignment of design, deployment, and configuration with the original client vision. You will have an aptitude for lateral thinking, problem solving, and the application of your technical expertise and business acumen in a client facing role, acting as a trusted advisor to knowledge workers.
iM Responsible For…
- Participating in pre-sales engagements:
- Translating client business requirements into technical solutions
- Articulating implementation proposals in written and verbal form
- Delivering PoC (Proof-of-Concept) systems
- Delivering client enablement trainings
- Participating in post-sales engagements:
- Acting as the iManage Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Designing and delivering production grade solutions
- Liaising with the iManage Cloud operations team to provision iManage solutions
- Onboarding client user populations
- Working with iManage Support to provide technical assistance as required
- Contributing to iManage product and service offerings:
- Sharing client field experience with iManage Solution Owners
- Working with Practice Leads to extend and align product capabilities with client needs
- Sharing knowledge with the global iManage consultant community
iM Qualified Because I Have…
- A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, or a related field
- Six+ years of proven experience in client-facing, technical consultative engagements
- Experience standing up software products that service the legal profession and / or technical skills that relate to AI, computer science, or Software Engineering including:
- The ability to think creatively, with well-developed problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Desire to problem solve with technology
- Familiarity with, or desire to learn, technologies such as :
- Scripting/Browser: HTML, CSS, JS, etc
- Programming: Python
- Search: SOLR, Elastic, Lucene, etc
- Relational and Object Stores: MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
- Application integration and/or development against web service APIs
- Machine Learning and Information Retrieval principles
- Strong written, verbal, and client advocacy skills
- The ability to effectively manage multiple engagements with competing priorities
- Experience in legal profession services (an advantage)
