EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS

Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in IT industry in the technical field
  • Working knowledge of enterprise level applications.

Required Skills:

  • Peoplesoft Administration Experience
  • Worked on Peoplesoft installation/upgrades and applying security and bug fixes
  • Familiar with Peoplesoft migration process
  • Ability to troubleshoot Peoplesoft performance issues
  • Configure application to work in high availably configuration including Weblogic
  • Linux Red Hat experience, Unix Shell Scripting,
  • Oracle Database experience (Exadata knowledge helpful)
  • Knowledge of SQL, PL SQL, performance tuning
  • Understand SQL queries, analyze data related issues and identify root cause of issues / defects. Develop and implement performance tuning.
  • Experience with troubleshooting DB accessibility issues.
  • Perform network tracing
  • Experience working with enterprise monitoring tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager , Pandora, Dynatrace.
  • Experience working with ITIL process of incident/change and problem management skills.
  • Worked on scheduling tools and able to identify issues with dependent chain.
  • Able to work with vendors on support cases and follow up regularly till resolution is found.

Preferred/ Recommended Skills:

  • Configure application Single Sign one, SAML 2.0 knowledge
  • Flexible in managing competing priorities and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Document system process flows and write test scripts for system testing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot effectively through multi-tiered application stacks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Testing in support of projects and creation of project artifacts as required by project life cycle.
  • Support projects per SDLC procedure - Perform analysis based on business requirement, design, develop, test and implement changes to Oracle Application and related interfaces.
