Responsible for overseeing the entire Vendor Management process and becomes the subject matter expert for Vendor Management On-Boarding. Requires daily communication with multiple Business Partners via email, phone, and in-person conversations to address all questions relating to Vendor Management. Works under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Analyzes and responds to acquisition campaign-related customer complaints across DFS portfolios. Creates dashboards and reports to present the results of analysis to management. Leverages acquisition campaign data and other internal data to conduct independent analysis.
Maintains the Vendor Management repository. Updates the Handbook, SOPs, and training documents in support of the Vendor Management program.
Interacts with Credit Bureaus to gather information on attributes and match rates. Manages relationships with bureaus on new initiatives and pre-approval projects, from initiating requirements through implementation. Coordinates initiatives with external and internal business partners. Verifies the consistency of weekly reported numbers to vendor-billed numbers and identifies opportunities for improvement.
Manages the entire Vendor On-Boarding process, which will require the individual to become the subject matter expert on the process from start to finish.
Reviews Tier Assessment forms for completeness and accuracy, cancels requests when necessary, and ensures that each request moves through the process in a timely fashion. Manages all updates and new releases to the VMA tool by creating the requirement, assisting BT in creating the technical design, participating in UAT, and creating training materials for new releases.
Supports the Vendor Management On-Going process, which ensures that due diligence activities are performed on each Vendor by Tier to meet FDIC, SOX, Bank Regulators, and Internal Audit.
Acts as the Security Administrator for the various Bank and Treasury systems used by DFS Treasury, Accounting Services, and Finance departments.
Ensures accurate execution of acquisition campaigns at vendors for various products, including Card, Personal Loans, Student Loans, and Home Equity Loans. Evaluates vendor reports on the DFS acquisition campaign data to ensure accuracy and consistency of risk criteria.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Communication, or related field
2+ years of experience in Business, Operations, or related field
In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of experience in Business, Vendor Management, Operations, or related field
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Tableau and MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
