Reporting to the Senior Director, Total Rewards & Talent Analytics you will lead the efforts around our employee benefits and perks. You will be managing the daily administration of the benefits, while using your data analytics skills to ensure we are offering the right package for our employees.
What you get to do:
- Partner with our benefits broker to provide health, wellbeing, and retirement benefits to our employees
- Manage the daily administration of OppLoans' benefit programs, including healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), disability, and other voluntary benefits
- Liaison with our People Business Partners on employee leave administration
- Be the point person for all employee benefit questions, including hosting office hours and managing slack channel and messages
- Complete annual audits and compliance projects (401(k) audit, non-discrimination testing, 5500 filings, worker's comp audits, etc.)
- Maintain/oversee compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations such as HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, and ERISA
- Support annual open enrollment administration, testing, communications and reporting
- Help develop and redesign OppLoans' benefits programs by conducting employee surveys, reviewing benefits market data and conducting cost benefit analyses
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure files are processed
- Work with the HRIS team to conduct testing and review vendor data integrations with our HRIS system (UKG)
What you will bring to the team:
- 5+ years of experience with benefits analysis and administration
- Familiar with state and federal regulations including HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA and ERISA
- Proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, cost-benefit analyses)
- Our HRIS is Ultipro/UKG so it'll be great if you have experience in that system but not required
- CEBS or CBP a plus
