Job Description

We are seeking a Services Manager to join our Professional Services team. The Services Manager will function as a leader, mentor and subject matter expert to our production team. We’re looking for someone who can command trust and respect. We want your presence to be bolstered by a demonstration of eminent knowledge around product data and product classification with the ability to lead and manage a team.
The ideal Services Manager would have experience managing a deadline and production-oriented team. The candidate should have an analytical background with experience in product content and sku build.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise and schedule team members to meet goals and deadlines
  • Facilitate communication meetings with team and individuals
  • Drive focus, urgency and accountability
  • Utilize appropriate leadership styles and methods in guiding team towards task accomplishment, work quality/skill improvement and engagement
  • Work with Consulting Managers on project needs, status and reporting
  • Participate in interviewing, onboarding and training of new team members
  • Responsible for goal setting and performance management
  • Address performance issues and make recommendations for personnel actions
  • Provide guidance and leadership to team on project amendments
  • Provide project support as needed
  • Report to Chief Delivery Officer with team member progress

Required Skills

  • Management Experience or MBA, preferably both
  • Analytical background
  • Experience in product content, sku build a plus
  • Leadership skills, including the ability to mentor, coach and motivate a large team
  • Process and Efficiency driven
  • Someone who likes the mantra "If it's not broke, break it" and definitely "If it's broken, fix it"
  • Ability to adapt to frequently changing client needs
  • Well organized, project management skills a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • People Focused - must understand change does not come through authority, but also through relationships
  • Team player- someone who isn't going to assign overtime without pitching in themselves
  • Firm but fair management style
  • Entrepreneurial - internally driven, not waiting around for direction

We're in the New East Side area close to Michigan Ave, Millennium Park, the Riverwalk, restaurants & hotels. There's a shuttle for Metra riders too!
