As our Senior Business Technical Analyst (Sr. BTA), your role is to assess and analyze complex systems and business requirements and develop high quality solutions from design, development, testing, and deployment. Using Agile methodology, Sr. BTA works with cross functional team, business and technology, to ensure system solutions deliver value and drives business adoption. Our Enterprise Communications and Collaborations (ECC) technologies span across several key areas of the McDonald’s organization. The Sr. BTA is an avid problem solver and out of the box thinker. You must be fluent in system development, testing standards and solutions, and familiar with system integration and troubleshooting. This role is part of our ECC team, reporting to Business Engagement Lead.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with Portal site technologies leveraging Adobe, Liferay, Unily, Microsoft or Facebook/Workplace (Customize OOTB AEM components, DAM management, Content Management Systems, Asset Workflows and schedulers)
  • Solid knowledge in Relational Database (SQL, MySQL), WebServices (SOAP, REST) and Informatica and other ESBs
  • Experience in cloud hosting and cloud-based applications
  • Experience writing & maintaining technical designs, functional designs, and integration documentation
  • Ability to organize and present material and topics to a diverse set of stakeholders and identify high value deliverables for those stakeholders and communicate tradeoffs is a must. Non- Technical Skills

  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new SaaS based technologies that are viable to our Communications and Collaboration experience for Employees and Restaurant Mangers / Crew. These projects and initiatives will support/enhance our existing portfolio of applications including Microsoft suite of products, Unily, Brightcove, Facebook/Workplace and integration with backend HR systems.
  • Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes.
  • Coordinate/Lead and provides guidance to team members in application development/support across multiple projects.
  • Able to independently troubleshoot software application issues with minimal supervision.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements.
  • Analyze data contained in the application database and identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems and implement solutions.
  • Provide assistance and advice to business stakeholders on effective ways to leverage our digital applications and technology.
  • Able to lead a team of developers, onshore and offshore, and ensuring on-time and quality deliverables
  • Collaborate with Solution Architect, Business Analysts, Project Managers and other cross functional stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of solution delivery.
  • Write technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guide, etc.
  • Produce technical documentation for new and existing applications.
  • Define and Promote best practices in relevant development languages and Agile methodology
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings to discuss progress and issues to be resolved.
  • Assist in the creation of the system design, user stories and functional requirements for all new development projects.
  • Serve as a liaison and facilitator between all business units to assist in addressing and resolving technology software issues.
  • Ensure appropriate standards and procedures are adhered to during the development process to support a quality deliverable to the business communities.
  • Conduct regular reviews of systems and generating reports on data integrity, system efficiencies and improvement areas
  • Timely and accurate escalation of risk and issues for the production and maintenance of applicable project metrics and status reports within a project.
