As Sr Director of IT & BizAps, you will be a key leader in the advancement of our IT and business application systems.  From setting strategy to identifying and implementing specific technologies that will drive business value…you have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact to the business on a daily basis. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create vision and strategic direction for Information Technology and Business Application development and delivery.

  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to ensure direction and decisions are business focused and help drive overall velocity.

  • Drive a process of meaningful continuous improvement.  Identify and pilot new technologies, prioritize and track opportunities for optimization, and create a culture of innovation and collaboration focused on business value.

  • Work side by side with your engineers, guiding critical projects, using your subject matter expertise to solve complex problems, and facilitating an environment where your team knows you’re willing and able to step in and help when needed.

  • Take ownership of operational excellence, establishing and maintaining business focused KPI’s.  Use these metrics not only as a basis for positive transformation, but also as a visible representation of your team’s success.

  • Effectively manage IT professionals setting goals and priorities, establishing delivery processes and ensuring employee development that maximize individual effectiveness and engagement.

  • Engage stakeholders to ensure that software releases and application configuration changes are tested, qualified and implemented successfully.

  • Manage IT budget, planning for future needs and optimizing current spend.

 

 

Skills and Experience

 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Must be able to go deep with tech resources while also being effective in collaborating at a higher level with Sales Ops, Finance, and other key leaders.
  • 10+ years of IT solution delivery experience with 5+ years leadership/management experience.  Must include CRM/ERP experience.

  • Software development and / or systems integration experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to create strategies and execute on those strategies.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and resource management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive reliability improvements and solve real-time complex customer issues.
  • Must have experience with Salesforce and preferably Netsuite.
  • Experience with infrastructure and service desk strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar area of study, Masters preferred

 

 

The role will be based in the Chicago, US office, although the
role includes working with the IT & BizAps teams and collaborating with
colleagues on a global basis.
