About the Job:
We are seeking a Sr Manager of Strategy to support long term planning, near term resource allocation, and high value project-based work. You will report to our VP of Strategy and work closely with our leadership team and a wide range of stakeholders across the company. This is a high visibility role that will have a tremendous impact on the organization.
How you'll spend your time at Tovala:

• 3-5 year strategic planning - Work closely with leadership to build a longer term roadmap for company success. Conduct research on industry trends; lead new vertical prioritization and scoping; define our long term innovation road map in collaboration with our Product team and key stakeholders
• Near term resource allocation - Conduct business analysis and develop business cases to support high-value company-wide decision-making; in partnership with our Data team, build reporting and frameworks for use across Tovala to enable analysis-driven planning and decision-making across the organization
• High value project leadership - Manage project-based strategic work end-to-end from problem definition and project scoping to delivery of recommendations to the executive team to early execution with cross-functional teams, including designing and leading experiments to validate hypotheses
• High visibility materials - Support creation of board meeting and fundraising materials

Requirements

• 4+ years work experience. Experience in consulting is a must; ideal candidates also have experience in industry
• Strong command of data analytics and visualization tools - Excel and PowerPoint expertise are a must. Should also have a strong fundamental grasp of statistics and predictive modeling. Strong bonus points for SQL, Looker, Python, and other data analysis / visualization tools
• MBA preferred
