Sr Mgr, IT Portfolio Mgmt Processes & Operations
Primary Function:
- Process Governance Educate all practitioners and stakeholders on operating model methodologies and manage processes associated with the Enterprise Systems Operating Model methodology.
- Technology Management: Manage the technical and business support for the Portfolio Planning Management tool and its evolution in support of the Enterprise Systems (IT) Operating model and governance.
- Process Governance: identify, develop and optimize the Enterprise Systems Operating Model methodology, aligning it to the corporate strategic planning process and ensuring alignment with practitioners and stakeholders.
- Support the office of the CIO and the ES (IT) Leadership team through execution of Special Projects.
Required:
- Process Governance
Manage the development of the maintenance of the Enterprise Systems (IT) Operating Model, Solution Development Life Cycle, Agile Methodologies including ownership, training and enforcement of compliance with the models within the organization.
- Technology Management
Manage the technical and business support for the Portfolio Planning Management tool and its evolution in support of the Enterprise Systems (IT) Operation model and governance.
- Stage Gate Governance
Lead the compliance with the stage gate process from a deliverable perspective and also the quality of the deliverables with the process. Perform reviews of all deliverables at each stage gate and provide feedback and coaching regarding the quality and effectiveness of each deliverable. Maintain in the repository the proper documentation for the reviews for audit and best practice review purposes.
Build and maintain the templates for all the Stage Gate deliverables and train the organization on their proper use.
Required:
- 7 – 10 years experience
- Strong background in program and portfolio management, information aggregation, process rollout and operational change management across large teams.
- Demonstrated experience in process governance and in continuous process improvement.
- Experience with strategic planning supporting leadership roles in an agile development environment including overall workforce planning.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management processes and execution practices.
- Proven leadership ability that manifests itself in quickly earning sponsorship and key stakeholder trust; mobilizing teams; setting direction and approach; resolving conflict; delivering tough messages with grace; ability to influence higher levels in the organization; executing with limited information and ambiguity.
- Proactive, results oriented attitude, who leads by example of serving others, with a superb work ethic and flexibility to work within an environment of constant change.
- Ability to identify issues and risks across many teams, proposing solutions and understanding when to escalate to leadership.
