In this Senior Manager position, you will support the Compliance Program by actively participating in the development, continuous improvement and strategic implementation of the regulatory exam management program. Independently or with limited supervision, you will lead a variety of program elements that assist TransUnion in the ongoing relationship with regulatory supervisors.

What You'll Bring

5-7 years of professional experience with 3+ years of regulatory supervision/exam management, risk management, compliance, operational risk assessment, control analysis and/or audit experience required

BA/BS or similar degree, required. JD preferred, but not required.

Knowledge of regulatory or procedural compliance issues and the ability to apply them within an operations environment

Certification as a compliance and/or audit professional, or the willingness to obtain certification

Ability to work in and navigate a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment.

Attention to details and deadlines; flexible to rapid change.

Ability to perform multiple tasks and determine when to escalate issues.

Strong analytical, logical, problem solving, consultative, communication, and decision-making and judgment skills.

Commitment to personal development, including an ability to learn quickly and adapt to business needs/priorities.

Ability to write formal plan documents, proposals, policies and procedures as well as routine reports and correspondence.

Energy, enthusiasm and a desire to learn.

Impact You'll Make

Assist with the coordination and execution of the Regulatory Exam Management Program, which involves activities such as:Coordinating onsite examinations by regulators covering a variety of topics

Leading supervisory examination support efforts

Coordinating information gathering from subject matter experts in various roles and businesses

Preparing and reviewing responses for regulators

Assist in collaborating with other departments and functions (i.e. Consumer Operations, Data Governance, Global Technology, etc.) to ensure a common understanding of supervisory requests to coordinated common and standards response materials supervisory assessments/examination

Coordinate, track and manage state-level registration and licensing requirements. Lead effort to gather all necessary information and ensure timely and accurate filing to obtain and/or maintain registration/license.

Coordinate, track and mange periodic reporting to regulators as a result of state or federal law, regulation, settlement or otherwise

Communication

Develop and communicate calendar of supervisory and licensing obligations

Create and maintain templates for providing requested information to supervisory agencies

Communicate with the relevant businesses and functions regarding regulatory issues, findings by the regulators, and remediation related to those findings

Create and distribute reports of supervisory examination findings and status of outstanding issues.

Prepare high-quality documentation that is appropriate for its intended audience.

Efficiently and effectively communicate and explain program goals and objectives.

Prepare business personnel for meetings with regulators

Organize and facilitate meetings with employees of all levels across the company.

Prepare summary and detailed reports and metrics for management.

Analysis

Research and recommend to management new or enhanced solutions for the purpose of improving existing or developing new supervisory interaction processes.

Maintain awareness of current best practices, industry standards, data models and regulatory compliance to understand and evaluate potential areas of risk.

Assist with tracking efforts, gathering/analyzing metrics and recommending/developing procedural support tools and materials.

Teamwork

Establish and develop effective relationships with internal team members at various levels across the organization to ensure supervisory examination timelines and expectations are met.

Ensure that knowledge gained from efforts is documented, disseminated and understood.

Provide support to division and enterprise initiatives as needed.
