Stock Plan Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Stock Plan Administrator to help us carry on that tradition.
As the Stock Plan Administrator, you will have the opportunity to further grow our equity function. In this critical role, you'll serve as a Subject Matter Expert and main point-of-contact for our global equity compensation programs. You will have interaction with all levels of Sprout employees, and coordinate with cross-functional internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure timely and accurate processing, reporting, and disclosure of employee stock transactions and equity-related taxable events. As a member of the People Operations Team, you'll join a dedicated and supportive group focused on operational excellence and employee experience.

Qualifications
These are the minimum qualifications that our hiring team is looking for in this role:
- 3+ years of equity administration experience at a publicly-traded company, including administration of RSU awards and ESPP offerings globally
- ECA designation is required (CEP designation is preferred)
- Excellent analytical and Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLookups, IF formulas, etc.)
Additionally, these are the preferred qualifications that would indicate a particularly strong candidate:
- Understanding of SOX procedures and internal controls related to equity administration
- Prior Shareworks and Workday experience is preferred
- Familiarity with U.S. federal and state taxation relating to equity compensation
- Prior responsibility working with CPA firms in connection with audits and ASC 718 reporting
- Experience assisting with preparation of reports for SEC filings
Within 1 month, you will...
- Complete Sprout's New Hire training program alongside other new Sprout team members. You'll gain a broader understanding of our product and how your role fits into the organization.
- Meet with internal key stakeholders and external service providers.
- Audit current new grant and settlement processes including data validation between Shareworks, Workday, and Payroll function.
- Load new hire and employee RSU grants in Shareworks.
Within 3 months, you will...
- Assist in the planning and phased implementation of our global ESPP.
- Document and implement improvements to processes and controls.
- Assist with reporting required for audits and filings.
- Develop reporting cadence and dashboards for stakeholders.
Within 6 months, you will...
- Assist in further designing and developing our equity-related system integrations and workflows.
- Develop and deliver equity-related employee trainings and communications.
Within 12 months, you will...
- Uplevel your CEP, Shareworks, and/or related certification.
- Manage and contribute to the improvement of our equity-related internal controls.
- Surprise us! Use your unique ideas and abilities to continue to advance our People Operations team and Sprout in beneficial ways that we haven't even considered yet.
