The Impact You Will Make
The Strategic Initiatives Manager will manage the implementation of key Virtual Restaurant initiatives and monitoring of defined success metrics across the Grubhub ecosystem. This role will combine deep product and industry knowledge, and will work across Sales, Fulfillment, Success, Marketing, and Analytics to identify and act on opportunities in the Virtual Restaurant space to drive operational efficiencies and optimize product adoption and performance.
Responsibilities
- Understand the key metrics for successful Virtual Restaurants and the key drivers that lead to performance improvements
- Monitor account health and performance across all Virtual Restaurants
- Work across departments to act on these insights and implement optimization strategies
- Become a subject matter expert on Virtual Restaurants in order to support sales and operational efforts, to distill and share insights and to develop succinct action plans to drive business goals and objectives
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to strategize around the collateral, content (training materials), tools, and processes (internally and externally facing) needed to drive adoption and action for internal teams
- Identify creative ways and manage overall execution and tracking of concepts to match top performing Virtual Restaurants with data-driven growth opportunities
- Identify trends and articulate optimization needs related to product, processes, and pricing
- Stay informed on general industry news & trends and help translate into actionable ideas for Grubhub
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3-5 years professional experience.
- Deep knowledge of restaurant operations and technology
- Strong analytical skills to make and support business decisions
- Excellent communication skills. Good listener, capable of understanding client or internal issues and translating them into an effective and actionable solutions
- Proven ability to work across many departments to solve problems and achieve results
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Comfortable working in an unstructured and entrepreneurial environment
- Requires technical competence and an aptitude for learning new systems
