Strategic Programs Manager

We are looking for a cross-functional Program Manager to manage strategic customer and supplier programs in a fast-paced work environment! You will be a key component of project44’s growth and its’ ever-expanding customer and supplier network. You will lead critical customer and supplier programs dealing with all levels of their organizations, including C-level. You will report directly to the Head of Strategic Programs.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage customer and supplier programs:
- Project and program management including weekly cadence meetings and executive summary reports
- Stay at least one-step ahead of customer/supplier
- Expand supplier network:
- Identify suppliers, sell our network value proposition, negotiate agreements, and implement.
- Identify and drive efficiencies and process improvements:
- Invent and implement new, more efficient ways of doing things
Requirements & Preferred Skills
- TRAVEL:
- Must be able to travel up to 45% on short notice
- EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s in Analytics, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Supply Chain, and/or Transportation/Logistics
- Master’s in Business (MBA), Supply Chain, or Transportation/Logistics preferred
- PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- ISM CPSM
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD
- CSCMP SCPro
- LEVEL:
- 2-3 years of experience
- Experience working with fast-growth technology company, preferred
- Experience with domestic and/or international transportation/logistics, preferred
- Experience as a shipper, preferred
- Experience working with a SaaS product, preferred
- Master PowerPoint/Slide deck creator
- Superior negotiation skills
- Ability to be strategic and roll up your sleeves to accomplish what needs to be done
- Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate and influence across all levels of internal and external organizations
- Mental ability to pivot when necessary
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as necessary
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
