The Magic+Might studio operations associate is an enthusiastic problem solver who is prepared to engage at all levels of the firm’s operations with a can-do mindset, acting as primary point of contact for day-to-day studio needs. This person must be organized, professional, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment without losing their cool.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Planning, scheduling for a range of client meetings
- Planning, scheduling, managing studio events, outings, and parties
- Managing team travel requirements
- Managing and ordering studio and kitchen supplies
- Managing external vendors (facilities, IT, furniture etc.), including placing orders, timely follow-ups, etc.
- Collaborating with studio leadership and accounting on expense, accounts payable, and select payroll processing
- On-boarding contractors, managing contractor paperwork (NDAs, contracts, invoicing, etc.)
- Setting up and managing software accounts for team members
- On-boarding and conducting various system and office training for new hires
- Helping to maintain the physical studio in good condition
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of experience in creative studio or agency operations/administrative role or similar
- Superior verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion is critical
- Experience with traditional (Microsoft Suite) and progressive (Slack, Google Suite) office software
- Enthusiasm and energy for both the role and the culture of our studio
