As a Support Supervisor, you'll get to utilize Mothership’s proprietary Freight Management System, while growing a small team to effectively manage the flow of all shipment information on behalf of our customers and carriers.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who relishes the opportunity to drive support efficiency within the team. This individual will demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, be a problem solver and be committed to building a world class team. We are looking for someone who is a hands-on leader and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

What you’ll get to do

  • Create the Support team’s performance metrics while helping delegate tasks to ensure our customer and carriers’ needs are being handled
  • Develop documentation of standard operating procedures
  • Own all support-based relationships with the external customer and carrier’s
  • Resolve customer & carrier issues by problem solving to prevent reoccurrence
  • Make data-driven suggestions while developing a business case on how customers can achieve their goals in utilizing the Mothership platform
  • Responsible for CSAT & SLA targets as well as other Support metrics

What success looks like in this role

  • 2+ years in the supply chain and/or transportation space
  • Required experience in customer service 
  • Ability to provide strong leadership to a growing team
  • Ability to successfully recommend, implement, and execute strategies to improve on KPIs 
  • Onboarding new carriers from first sign-up to completion
  • Handling customer tickets that involve dedicated shipments
  • Ability to pick up new and complex information systems quickly
