JOIN OUR TEAM

We're looking for an organized and highly motivated Systems Engineer to join our team. Our computers team manages the internal network, applications, servers and workstations. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate must have a deep and broad knowledge of computer software, hardware and networks.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Install and configure software, servers, and enterprise applications
• Support local VMWare servers and AWS instances in both pre-production and production environments
• Leverage scripting and configuration management tooling to automate existing and new processes
• Manage and support cloud applications, including G-Suite
• Manage network devices, servers and technology tools
• Oversee lifecycle operations for both hardware and software
• Administer user accounts and access controls
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
• Troubleshoot issues and outages
• Manage and support employee workstations (Windows and Macs)
• Assist users with support inquiries
• Ensure security compliance by coordinating actions with the Security group
• Create documentation to cover new and existing systems
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies

• You will grow to design and take ownership of systems used by the entire organization
• You will help determine the direction that the corporate IT resources will follow as the environment continues to evolve and mature

Requirements

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• You are an exceptionally resourceful individual with the ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly
• You have 3-5 years experience in IT systems administration
• You are experienced Linux and Linux application administration
• You have familiarity with Windows (Desktop and Server) and MacOs administration
• You have strong knowledge of automation, including shell scripting (bash, powershell, etc…) and configuration management tooling (Ansible, etc…)
• You have experience with VMWare, Active Directory, Group Policy, email administration, storage administration, mobile device management
• You have experience with cloud application and hosting platforms, including AWS and G-Suite
• You are focused on security, from the design and implementation of new systems, to maintaining and improving existing ones
• You are a detail-oriented problem solver, a quick learner with interest and ability to learn new technologies and possess excellent communication skills
