What We Do:

tastytrade's newest venture, The Small Exchange, has one clear goal: to bring more participants to futures markets. Traders need friendlier products and more transparency. Futures brokers need a wide variety of offerings. Clearing firms need seamless integration. And everyone needs lower fees. This is a new kind of exchange where we will offer a unique set of products focused on changing the way the world uses futures markets.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first line of contact when it comes to requests to the Technical Operations desk.
• Manage tickets, requests, and assistance through any/all of our communication channels.
• Manage and respond to alerts, notifications, tickets, or any other issues which arise during the day-to-day operations of the exchange.
• Follow the policies and procedures set by the exchange.
• When necessary, suggest improvements upon current policies and procedures.

Prerequisites

• One of the following:
  • a four-year degree in the Information Technology field with a minimum of two years in a support or technical operations role
  • A minimum of five years of experience in ascending responsibilities within the technology support or analyst space
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Scripting experience with the purpose of administration and/or day-to-day technical operations
• Proficiency with Python, Powershell, or Bash
• Experience with Change management
• Experience supporting hardware from mobile to workstations
• Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting and repair
• Proficiency with cloud services and administration
• Strict adherence to ticketing and documentation
• Understanding of Directory services, networking, and security fundamentals

*Experience with Log Analysis tools, monitoring, and alerting setup and maintenance is a plus.

*Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
