This role will be based in the Chicago area. This position will report to the VP of Customer Support.

Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!

  • Handle incoming support tickets, classifying and assigning accurately​
  • Provide customer product support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail or phone
  • Respond to customer support requests with a sense of urgency and professionalism
  • Use mobile devices and mobile security software
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem
  • Follow sound troubleshooting process
  • Communicate issues with team members and escalate appropriately
  • Assist both internal and external clients with hardware and software issues
  • Write knowledge base and other documentation
  • Prepare and ship equipment, receive equipment, use an online inventory system
  • Manage device inventory process

Requirements: I’ve already done that or have that!

  • Technical degree or commensurate experience (2+ years)
  • Experience with ZenDesk a plus
  • Familiarity with Mac, Linux, VMWare, and mobile software a plus
  • High integrity and responsibility
  • Enthusiasm for customer support
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to promptly answer support related e-mail and phone calls
  • Ability to follow an issue through to resolution
  • Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong spoken and written English

Location

Our headquarters are located in the Chicago Loop, standing at the foot of the busy LaSalle Street canyon. Our office is located in an art deco-style skyscraper with a pinnacle statue of Ceres, Chicago's tallest building from 1930 to 1965. Easy access to great restaurants and rooftop views!
