Technical Services\/Professional Services Lead
About The Role:
In this role, you will be joining the Customer Experience Team as a Technical Services Lead and will be a part of building the foundation of the Convr Professional Services Technical practice. You will ensure that Convr customers make the best possible use of the Convr platform, equip them to pursue their strategic objectives, and help them achieve their desired business goals.
You will develop a deep technical and functional understanding of Convr product capabilities and customer needs to act as an overall technical advisor and advocate throughout the sales process and customer lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Business Development, and Customer Success teams to effectively respond to sales opportunities and drive product-oriented conversations with prospective customers. You should maintain a solution-oriented approach and be excited to be a part of a growing team, welcoming the challenges that come along with a start-up environment.
The most successful candidates:
- Have 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer or technical consultant (Python, JavaScript, Java, C# or equivalent)
- Have extensive programming experience in server-side headless applications
- Understand machine learning principals
- Have experience in RESTful services and APIs
- Are familiar or have experience with the software development lifecycle
- Have working knowledge of JIRA
- Are natural communicators who adjust their style to match their audience
- Have excellent oral and written communications skills, including experience working in cross-functional teams
- Have strong storytelling skills with experience presenting to large technical and non-technical audiences, including business executives
- Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or proven experience
- Can continuously improve Customer Experience across the company by helping to create a company-wide culture focused on customer success and delight across the organization
Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of Convr capabilities, technologies, and configuration procedures
- Lead technical deep dive conversations with current and prospective customers to develop technical solutions to solve business challenges
- Work with Business Development Executives and Customer Success Managers to gather customers' business challenges, product needs, and technical requirements
- Use knowledge of the Convr platform and insurance industry practices to craft and present strategic solutions that ensure customers realize their goals
- Responsible for the overall delivery of technical work product on customer engagements which may include the reviewing of code completed by engineers
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering team to ensure custom solutions and integrations align with the Convr platform roadmap
- Work with offshore teams and partners to deliver seamless, high quality work product
- Serve as a founding member of the Professional Services Technical practice to build out best practice materials, operating procedures and train new resources, clients, and partners
