Temporary Operations Support Associate - Cash Management

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing operational support to the Operations – Cash Management team. This team is responsible for processing all aspects related to incoming and outgoing cash funding such as Check(s), Wire(s) and ACH(s). The ideal candidate will be a quick learner and have strong attention to detail, accurate and rapid data entry capabilities and capacity for multitasking. Through verbal and written communication, this person will need to develop, strengthen and maintain a positive relationship with other internal Operational teams, Customer Service Representatives, IT and external Business Partners.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Review, sort and prepare data to be entered into internal portal
- Validate all incoming checks for deficiencies or errors
- Perform clerical functions of scanning of all documents for Internal review
- Prepare and mail outgoing customer correspondence and checks
- Process all approved checks through the banking relationship’s electronic remote capture
- Ensuring that all processing consistently meets established service levels and is done with a high degree of accuracy
- Assisting with any other task or projects as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Associates degree or commensurate work experience
- 1-2 years previous experience in an office environment and/or banking experience preferred
- Detail-oriented, organized and dependable
- Have the ability to type, enter data and perform other duties quickly and accurately
- Work independently and be proactive in resolving issues and seeking additional work as time allows
- Have strong computer aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel, building spreadsheets and entering data is a must
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be proactive and analytical, able to problem-solve and propose resolutions
- Operate with a high sense of responsibility and conscientiousness in delivering results
- Be optimistic with a consistently positive and flexible attitude
- Have the ability to meet established department service levels
- IRA knowledge and experience a plus
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Overtime as required
