Under the guidance of the Manager and Senior Manager of Training you will implement the departmental training strategy and assess its outcomes. You enjoy developing and using training methodologies to enhance employee skills, performance, productivity and quality of work.
What You'll Do:

  • Effectively supervise a team of Training Specialists against defined goals, monitor work progress and appraise job results. Delegate tasks and set deadlines for internal team to drive towards.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership qualities and create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Supervise multiple program development projects simultaneously by prioritizing project deadlines. Tracks program development lifecycles: ensures that any problems are addressed, advanced when needed, and resolved quickly.
  • Assist in all phases of the content development cycle, including needs analysis, planning, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating and editing.
  • Aligns current training and development programs to effectively impact key business indicators.
  • Monitor and evaluate individual and organizational performance to ensure training is meeting business needs and improving performance.
  • Establish processes and tools to monitor and evaluate the training program's effectiveness, success and return of investment periodically and recommend necessary improvements.
  • Identify and provide opportunities for ongoing development of the program while maintaining a keen understanding of training trends, new developments and best practices.


What We Look For:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience (Leadership Development, Instructional Design, Learning Development, Adult Learning, Training Delivery)
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in training facilitation and instructional design
  • Prior experience working in a complex operational or customer support organization preferred and financial experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form successful relationships and collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience implementing, utilizing, and managing performance related platforms (LMS, engagement survey, etc.)
  • Ability to foster teamwork and develop and mentor others
  • Problem and situation analysis. Analytical thinking skills
  • Proactive thinking, constantly seeking improvement opportunities in work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including training content development and presentations
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • A good understanding of the learning and development industry
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with constant change and rapid = growth.
  • Experience in Risk Operations and/or Merchant Operations preferred, but not required.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% (once it is safe to resume travel)
