Vice President, Implementation
About the Role
The FourKites platform offers a unique approach to tracking freight and managing exceptions - it connects to ELD/GPS devices already installed in trucks to provide reliable location updates in real-time. The Implementation process is one of the most critical phases in a client’s life cycle. It is comprised of 3 primary workstreams: system integration, carrier onboarding, and change management. The VP of Implementation will be responsible for the Customer Implementation team as well as the System Integration team. They will be an integral leader in our Operations organization, ensuring our onboarding program and integrations are best in class.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and scale team responsible for Client onboarding, including the Director of Customer Implementation and team of Implementation Project Managers, and Integration Specialists responsible for scoping and supporting the system integration workstream for customers and carrier partners.
- Significant client interaction at the senior leadership level; leading design sessions, executive-level interactions, cross-team collaboration, issue and risk mitigation, etc.
- Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to ensure smooth client onboarding and continued success from Pre-sales through Customer Success.
- Implement and maintain standard integrations – simplify deployment and ensure continued upgrades to keep pace with product innovation. Collaborate with Integration Engineering team to ensure client expectations and project timelines are met.
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure integration infrastructure continues to evolve to support a growing client and carrier base.
- Design and implement best practices for integrations, and support the strong partnerships necessary to maintain them over time
- Collaborate with the product team to scope and deliver on system enhancements and changes to standard integrations.
- Facilitate ongoing knowledge transfer of integration offering to internal client facing teams
- Continue to innovate FourKites’ onboarding program to address customer and carrier needs as we grow.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree and 10+ years of relevant work experience
- 5+ years leading teams in technical integration and customer implementation project management functions
- Customer facing experience with large enterprise clients, Fortune 500 preferred
- Ability to understand complex solutions and explain them in a simple and precise way to both a technical and business user is a must
- Experience leading growing teams through a hands-on and collaborative approach to management
- A strong understanding of integrations, business processes, or technology designs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Consulting experience in a technical project management function a plus
- Logistics or transportation management systems experience preferred
