Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Job Description:
Charmac partners with brands to create, manage and grow their presence on Amazon.  We believe every product has a place on the Amazon marketplace, and every brand can be doing more to tell their story through the platform.  For brands already on Amazon, we have partnered to 5x their revenue; for brands not on Amazon, we have grown their volume from 50 units sold per month, to 1,000+ units sold per month.

We are looking for a leader to manage product performance with the goal of maximizing profitability. You will achieve this by driving the discoverability and buyability of products on Amazon. You love data, optimization, conversion rates, and automation. You pride yourself on your ability to generate results. 

We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants to take what they’ve learned in their career and apply it to an untapped market. You’ll work across our entire brand portfolio, and will get the opportunity to work on real consumer brands. This is a chance to move the needle and do work that matters.

Had You Been With Us Last Month, You Would Have:

  • Worked directly with our CEO to help formulate our product growth methodology, creating plans on how it can be systematized and scaled for our current and future clients.
  • Assisted in onboardings and product launches, overseeing everything from the initial page content to a successful launch strategy.
  • Analyzed the performance of our product ad campaigns, optimizing keywords, costs per click, daily budgets and more. 
  • Implemented an A/B split test designed to measure the change in conversion rate between two different lifestyle images on a product listing.
  • Met weekly with the other members of the leadership team to measure our progress in relation to our quarterly and annual goals, helping form the overall strategy of the company.

The Best Candidates for This Job Will Have:

  • Passion for ecommerce and thoroughly enjoy helping a brand tell their story.
  • Natural drive to plan their work and work their plan, staying organized and keeping other members of the organization informed along the way.
  • Tenacity to learn quickly and “figure it out” when you don’t have the answer.
  • Skill to bring together different sources of data; measuring and digesting it in an actionable way to drive profitability.
  • Fluency in working with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Ability to help others succeed, holding them accountable for their results and coaching them along the way.

With headquarters currently in Lisle, IL and a coworking space near the West Loop, we will be consolidating to one office in or near Chicago’s loop no later than 09/30/18. We value flexibility and are open to remote work arrangements and/or leveraging coworking space in the interim. We have a startup feel and a focus on results, collaboration, and learning fast. The ideal candidate for this position will be looking for a long-term opportunity and is excited about the potential of an untapped market.
