We are searching for a Fraud Lead for our Wealth Management team.

The Wealth Management (WM) Fraud Lead is a part of the WM Control team and will be responsible for fraud risk management, specifically focused on preventing fraud through the delivery of training, the assessment of fraud risk, and the remediation of fraud control issues.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Assesses fraud risks for WM products, services, processes, and programs.
  • Works with fraud subject matter experts, WM leadership, and WM Control team to create and refine fraud prevention training for clients and partners.
  • Collaborates with enterprise and WM partners to remediate fraud risks in the WM control environment.
  • Analyzes data and fraud trends to customize fraud metrics tailored for their respective business unit to empower leadership insight and decision making.
  • Monitors internal and external fraud trends and shares information with the Global Fraud Team as well as WM leadership regarding emerging fraud trends.
  • Works with leadership to establish and support a three lines of defense fraud philosophy and model across the enterprise.
  • Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
  • Partners closely with the Global Fraud Risk group to continually evolve the business unit fraud risk management program by enhancing metrics, refining practices, and strengthening the control environment.

Knowledge/Skills

  • A deep understanding of fraud risk management practices and programs.
  • Proven ability to assess fraud risks in financial services products, services, and products.
  • Experience in delivering fraud training to a variety of audiences.
  • Competency in interpreting data and deriving meaningful insights & trends.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Results and detail oriented with ability to prioritize effectively and multi-task.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations.
  • Self-motivated and intellectually curious with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, integrity and confidentiality.

Education/Experience

The successful partner will have:

  • College or University degree is preferred.
  • 7 + years of understanding of fraud risk management practices and programs.
  • Proven ability to assess fraud risks in financial services products, services, and products.
  • Experience in delivering fraud training to a variety of audiences.
  • Competency in interpreting data and deriving meaningful insights & trends.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Results and detail oriented with ability to prioritize effectively and multi-task.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations.
  • Self-motivated and intellectually curious with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
