We’re looking for a Workplace Experience Specialist

We are looking for a bright, dedicated, and enthusiastic human to drive a high quality employee experience through initiatives that bring out the best in our people. Your goal is to help develop an environment for increased innovation, productivity, and well-being, and do so by overseeing, maintaining, and ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of Built In’s in person and virtual workplace experience.

How you’ll contribute

  • Support Built In’s inclusive workplace model by seamlessly and experientially connecting teams and employees across our office and remote landscapes.
  • Oversee all aspects of workplace experience, including:
    • Building and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers
    • Assist in planning in person & virtual social events
    • Manage office services: food & beverage, security, deliveries, conference room/meeting set up, and other employee services programs (swag & other perks/benefits)
    • Work closely with property management and to maintain facilities
  • Execute and support current and future accommodation plans for company growth & scale, including in office and remote policies, space planning, office moves, etc.
  • Support People Team with the candidate and new hire experience + onboarding and offboarding initiatives
  • Help create, implement and uphold standards and procedures that maintain a safe work environment.
  • Establish systems, controls, analytics, cost-saving measures and standards for service operations
  • Continuously research, gather and analyze data to identify trends in the industry
  • Help track and process expenses
  • Identify & implement opportunities to build a more cohesive, happy, productive team
  • Support various People Team projects and initiatives as they arise

Who you are

  • 3-5 years of experience in high-tech workplace experience, event planning, project management or similar role
  • Exemplifies strong ownership over projects from start to finish
  • Ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously with organization and high EQ
  • Stellar cross functional communicator who responds promptly and provides answers or analysis with detail and follow through
  • Experience scaling large offices in a hyper growth phase
  • A multitasker who successfully manages, prioritizes, and executes against tight deadlines in rapidly changing environments
  • A results-oriented team member with a strong customer service focus and collaborative approach
  • A positive influence on those around you with a passion for creating an inclusive work environment and fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurialism 
  • A team member that tirelessly strives to improve the workplace experience, recognizes areas of need, and formulates plans to execute solutions
