The Role 

We are looking for an experienced People Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Talent Team. The candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the HR Team
  • Administering Dayforce updates (HRIS)
  • Compensation Analysis
  • Onboarding and Offboarding of employees
  • Contractors and subcontractors
  • Completing critical Sales RFP's
  • Compiling Executive metrics and dashboards
  • Payroll backup coverage.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of people operations experience and a proven record of accomplishing tasks with accuracy and ownership. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Understand how to onboard and offboard new hires 
  • Provide support on HR-related topics such as RFP's, compensation, and operational policies 
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies 
  • Gather and analyze data with HR metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis 
  • Compile and update employee records in Dayforce 
  • Process documentation and prepare reports related to personnel activities 
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data to Payroll Administrator and act as back-up processor when needed 

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience working as a People Operations Specialist, HR Manager, HR Program Manager or a similar role 
  • Strong problem-solving, reporting and analytical skills. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 
  • Knowledge of Dayforce HRIS and payroll systems 
  • Demonstrated ability to research and analyze problems at a senior level, providing feedback, guidance, and direction. 
  • A clear understanding of Human Resources practices and legal requirements. 
  • Working knowledge of the critical components of a successful HR department including employment law, performance management, resolving conflict, maintaining employee files, and managing operational processes 
  • Clear, strong verbal communication and consulting skills. Demonstrated ability to work with Executives and Senior Leaders 
  • Well-developed dashboard and presentation skills. 
  • Discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to listen, analyze and deliver data and operational requirements.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • SPHR or other HR certification preferred.
