Are you passionate about enhancing security and automating processes for modern, cloud-native infrastructure? 


As a Platform DevSecOps Engineer Intern, you will help design and implement solutions that improve security practices in Kubernetes and containerized environments. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab, and security frameworks. You’ll contribute to key initiatives in security automation, container security, and incident response, all while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop automation scripts or workflows to streamline security tasks, including container image signing, vulnerability scanning, and Kubernetes runtime policies. 
  • Collaborate with team members to integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems. 
  • Create dashboards and reports to track security metrics such as vulnerability remediation and compliance progress. 
  • Test and implement Kubernetes security policies in controlled environments, improving them based on team feedback. 
  • Develop documentation and guides for secure practices, helping others adopt tools like secure base images and vulnerability scanning workflows. 
  • Participate in incident response simulations, contributing to playbooks and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Junior or Senior-level student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. 
  • Foundational understanding of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (Secure SDLC) and secure coding principles. 
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning, its importance, and its role in software development workflows. 
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and the purpose of CI/CD pipelines in modern software practices. 
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash; experience with compiled languages like Go (Golang) is a plus. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including documenting processes and findings clearly. 
  • Curiosity and interest in modern security practices, such as container security and cloud-native infrastructure. 
  • Exposure to tools like Kubernetes, Docker, or GitLab is a plus. 
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools or frameworks is a plus.
