What You'll Do:
We are looking to fill a highly strategic role responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting governance and enterprise architecture practices. The individual will closely partner with key stakeholders across the enterprise to develop and execute technical and business strategies which should align with the enterprise security, compliance, and business goals.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.
- You will lead, develop, and execute the processes and capabilities required to ensure proper governance in enterprise architecture practices.
- Develop and implement architecture models based on TOGAF and AWS Well Architected Framework.
- Support cloud and architecture governance via Architecture Review Board.
- Design and develop data-driven analytics and executive reporting to enable cross-functional conversations at OCC about enterprise architecture and relevant challenges.
- Observe meaningful trends in data sets, perform analysis to help translate raw data into actionable recommendations including, but not limited to, automation, shared costs, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Security, Compliance, and Legal, to develop and implement enterprise architecture governance strategies.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT leaders, and external partners to understand their requirements, address their concerns, and provide guidance on architecture governance.
- Track and report KPIs and trend analysis relating to business capabilities, technical capabilities, AWS cloud consumption, capacity management, and chargeback.
- Stay abreast of the emerging trends and best practices in architecture governance, assess their relevance to our organization, and recommend necessary changes to the policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Experience with public cloud architecture, cloud strategy, TOGAF, networking, security, compliance workload types, migration patterns and tools
- At least 5 years' experience in AWS public cloud and enterprise architecture.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and tool management that help drive architectural and business decisions.
- Ability to investigate data to explain outliers, anomalies, and optimizations to rationalize the business and technical portfolios.
- Experience in developing business capability mapping, enterprise application rationalization, value stream maps, and integration models.
- Skilled communicator who can easily understand and translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and tool management that help drive architectural and business decisions.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years' experience leading complex Engineering and Architecture initiatives.
Certificates or Licenses:
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate (Required), TOGAF Certification
