The Product Management & Marketing Intern is a multifaceted role focusing on product development and lifecycle efforts while also contributing to strategic marketing initiatives. As a key team member, you will aid in bringing our goods to life through work on product design, packaging, marketing materials, digital content, and more. This position will report directly to the Product Manager but will have exposure to the wider business teams. Interns will complete a capstone type project culminating in a presentation to business leadership.
Key Projects:
- Support strategic assessment work:
- Uncover and assess customer needs and trends
- Explore market, especially technology advancements and trends
- Assist in market research and competitive analysis
- Summarize key issues and opportunities gleaned from research and assessment work
- Engage in product lifecycle management exercises
- Assist in developing design concepts and visual materials
- Support Go-to-Market plans for seasonal development
- Collaborate cross-functionally to collect, curate and distribute product information as related to communicating unique selling points and key features to end users
- Execute strategic support of marketing and ecommerce campaigns
- Initiate preparation of artwork production files for print and/or digital publishing
Required Education and Experience:
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc)
- Experience in graphic design, visual arts, or related field
- Pursuing an undergraduate or Graduate degree in Product Design, Retail Management, Merchandising, Marketing, Business or related field
- Rising junior or senior
- Strong interest in applying Design, Retail, Fashion Merchandising knowledge to practical problems
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Interest in technology and process improvement
Certain peak periods may provide an opportunity for overtime. This is a paid position. The internship will run from November into 2025 with the possibility of continuing into the Summer. Exact dates flexible based on school schedules.
