Product Manager

As a Product Manager at Reverb.com, you will manage multiple initiatives, driving the creation of engaging products and delightful experiences that help our customers make the world a more musical place. You must be wildly passionate about building what our customers need, obsessed with clear communication about the projects you guide, comfortable engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, and tireless about focusing on the outcomes of the work we do.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project plans for design & development teams, including schedule, scope, dependencies, risk and cost across the entire project lifecycle
- Identify use cases and other business requirements for each project
- Document and visualize project plans, facilitate the review of UX artifacts, and schedule demo sessions for stakeholders to drive and maintain alignment across the organization
- Report on progress, risks and tradeoffs for in-progress projects
- Track and report on the impact of completed projects to help drive product strategy and project prioritization
- Ensure timely delivery of projects
- Maintain a tight feedback loop with the executive team
- Work closely with Marketing and Outreach to coordinate the promotion and education of users on new features
- Partner with Customer Engagement supervisors to ensure specialists are able to answer questions regarding new features and troubleshoot issues users may be having with our products
- Identify areas for process improvement within our discovery, design and development process
Requirements:
- Innate understanding of technology and how to use it to deliver innovative products
- Experience managing successful technical projects in a fast-paced, agile environment where collaboration across teams and departments is the norm
- Excellent communication skills, including conveying complex ideas in a simple and effective manner, ensuring team members and stakeholders are always in the loop, and an aptitude for understanding user needs and knowing when to listen to alternative perspectives.
- The ability to quickly synthesize information and clearly articulate next steps
- Comfort using SQL to pull data for reporting on the impact of projects
- Coding experience is a bonus.
