Description

The Product Manager is responsible for the company’s overall success in setting and delivering the near and long-term roadmap and requirements for the Apervita health analytics and data Platform-as-a-Service offering.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sales support through training and demonstrations by acting as the Apervita product subject matter expert.
  • Lead internal and external partners and customers through overall product architecture, functionality, demonstrations and new release features.
  • Manage overall product and platform via customer centric short/long term roadmap, releases, timelines, priorities, risks, and key performance indicators.
  • Facilitate market and customer conversations in order to create effective use cases, requirements, and product documentations. Make an impact by innovating, driving, and designing business solutions in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
  • Be both an internal and external technology partner and responsible for the product ecosystem prioritization and new feature requests.
  • Provide insight and research regarding competitive analysis.
  • Identify new strategic opportunities and set appropriate directions for product expansion.

Requirements

  • Previous product management Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) or similar experience.
  • Previous healthcare technology experience, preferably in large-scale health provider transformation, implementation, or development products, and/or the following sectors: healthcare IT, electronic medical record (EMR), analytics, systems integration, data warehouse and reporting.
  • Expertise in macro technology and healthcare trends to inform visionary perspective for long-term, health industry innovation and strategic direction.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with adapting and collaborative approach.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams and facilitate interactions with engineering, sales, solutions and support.
  • Ability to execute a business plan while remaining responsive to changing conditions.
  • Experience in leading and managing by influence across various organizational levels, cultural diversity and/or geographically dispersed resources.
  • Ability to effectively handle conflict through proactive action and direct and timely communication.
  • Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Flexibility and responsiveness in managing multiple projects in sometimes high-pressure situations simultaneously.
  • Experience in the following disciplines: software development lifecycle management, best practice product management frameworks, processes, and tools.
