Product Owner

Job Description Summary

Job Description

Cushman & Wakefield’s Technology Solutions team delivers technology-enabled solutions designed to empower the Americas Occupier Advisory business with simplified workflows, connected data, and product experiences that improve broker productivity and elevate client outcomes.
The Product Owner role is a dynamic, high-impact position responsible for owning the vision, roadmap, and delivery outcomes for Salesforce and long-term CRM and business development tools supporting Occupier Leasing. This role partners closely with brokers, business leaders, and cross-functional technology teams to define priorities, translate business needs into a deliverable backlog, and drive adoption and value realization across the Occupier CRM ecosystem, including Slack-enabled workflows and integrations.
Job Description:

  • Serve as the primary Product Owner for Occupier Salesforce and associated CRM and business development platforms, accountable for product vision, roadmap, and backlog outcomes aligned to business priorities.
  • Partner with brokers, market leaders, business development, and client teams to identify workflow needs and define product capabilities that improve pipeline management, account strategy, pursuits, and client engagement.
  • Own backlog management end-to-end: define epics and user stories, establish acceptance criteria, prioritize work based on business outcomes, and maintain clarity on scope, sequencing, and dependencies.
  • Lead continuous discovery and solution shaping in partnership with UX, engineering, data, and business stakeholders—ensuring delivery teams understand the “why” behind priorities and the intended user outcomes.
  • Drive release readiness and adoption planning in partnership with enablement and support teams, including communications, training inputs, support readiness, and post-release stabilization.
  • Drive CRM-connected workflows and integrations that reduce friction for brokers, including Slack-enabled notifications, task routing, approvals, and real-time visibility into key account and deal signals.
  • Coordinate across integrated platforms and data sources (CRM, client intelligence, marketing touchpoints, research content, analytics) to ensure cohesive experiences and consistent data definitions.
  • Partner with technical teams to ensure product decisions support scalability, maintainability, security, and data quality, while minimizing operational disruption for the business.
  • Establish and track success metrics to measure adoption and business impact (e.g., activity quality, pipeline visibility, cycle time, data completeness, usage patterns), and iterate based on insights.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communications, decision framing, and tradeoff discussions, ensuring alignment across business and technology leadership.
  • Maintain awareness of CRM and sales enablement technology trends and best practices, bringing forward opportunities that strengthen competitive position and client outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Real Estate, Computer Science, or equivalent education or experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, business systems ownership, or a related role delivering enterprise platforms in a B2B environment.
  • 3+ years of experience owning Salesforce (Sales Cloud and/or related products), including backlog prioritization, workflow design, and stakeholder management, preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with cross-functional technology teams (engineering, data, QA, UX, delivery, enablement) using agile delivery practices.
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that drive clear delivery outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, drive alignment, and influence outcomes without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort navigating ambiguity and making outcome-driven prioritization decisions.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint is required; experience producing executive-ready roadmaps, status updates, and decision materials is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate concepts and leasing workflows is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Slack workflow design and integrations (notifications, routing, approvals, bots, and channel-based collaboration) in support of sales and client delivery processes.
  • Familiarity with adjacent business development and sales enablement tooling (lead management, email/calendar integration, marketing automation, client intelligence, proposal/pitch workflows).
  • Experience with CRM data integration, data quality programs, identity/account hierarchies, and reporting/analytics that support pipeline and account management
  • Experience driving adoption and change management for broker-facing tools in a distributed, high-velocity sales environment.
  • Salesforce Administrator, Product Owner, or Agile certifications are a plus.
